Faridah binti Halim

Petaling Jaya, Selangor

I came in not knowing what to expect. The consultation was nothing like I imagined — nobody pushed me towards any decision or made me feel rushed. I left with a clear written summary and a much better sense of what the process would actually involve. It took a lot of the anxiety out of what I was facing.

We used the custody and maintenance service after reaching an impasse with the other party's solicitors. Rajan was patient throughout — he managed the correspondence in a way that actually reduced the tension rather than adding to it. The matter took longer than I hoped, but I think that reflects the situation rather than the team's effort. Would recommend for anyone who needs steady support.

The complete package was the right choice for us. From the first meeting to the final documentation, I always knew what stage we were at. Siti Widad was particularly helpful in keeping communication steady during a period when I found it difficult to focus on the practical details. I appreciated that they never made me feel like a burden when I had questions.

I was nervous about the consultation — I didn't know what to bring or what would be expected of me. The team made it easy. Nurul Ain asked good questions and explained the likely paths in plain language. I've since referred two friends who were in similar situations, and both said the same thing: the written summary alone was worth the fee.

The custody matter involved my two children, and I was worried the legal process would be stressful for them indirectly. The way this was handled was genuinely thoughtful — the team made sure the focus stayed on what was best for the children rather than on legal point-scoring. I felt heard throughout, which matters a great deal when you're going through something like this.

Choosing the complete package was the right call for my situation. I had no prior experience with legal processes and was overwhelmed by the paperwork alone. Having one team handle everything from start to settlement removed a weight I hadn't realised I was carrying. The fees were exactly as stated — no surprises.

Case Studies

A Few Situations, in Detail

These are anonymised accounts of how certain matters progressed, shared with the clients' consent.

Case Study 01 — Divorce & Settlement

Navigating a Joint Divorce Without Escalation

The Situation

A couple in Kuala Lumpur had reached an agreement in principle on asset division and custody but needed legal documentation and court filing handled calmly. Both parties wanted to avoid the adversarial tone they had heard about from others.

Our Approach

We started with a consultation for one party to map out the process, then prepared the joint petition and supporting documents. Correspondence was kept factual and measured. We coordinated the filing schedule and notified both parties at each step.

Outcome

The divorce was finalised through the Kuala Lumpur Family Court without contested hearings. Both parties confirmed at closure that the process felt manageable. Duration: approximately four months from first consultation to decree.

"I expected it to be much harder than it was. The pace was calm and I always felt informed. The written summary from the first session helped enormously."

Case Study 02 — Custody Access

Establishing a Fair Access Schedule

The Situation

A parent in Selangor sought to formalise an access arrangement following a separation. The other party's solicitors had sent letters framed in a way the client found distressing and difficult to respond to alone.

Our Approach

We took over correspondence and reframed the tone toward the children's schedule and practical arrangements. We proposed a structured access calendar and responded to each point in the other solicitor's letters constructively rather than defensively.

Outcome

A consent order was reached and filed without court hearings. The access arrangement has been in place since without significant dispute. Duration from engagement to consent order: approximately ten weeks.

"Having someone handle the letters was a relief I hadn't anticipated. The tone changed immediately. We were able to reach something reasonable for the children."
